Tom Christopher

Tom Christopher was previously the President and Chief Executive Officer at Areva NP. Areva NP is involved in engineering, instrumentation and control, and maintenance and repair services for power plants, as well as in components manufacturing and supply of nuclear fuel. Prior to Areva, Mr. Christopher served as the Vice President of the Siemens Westinghouse Power Corporation's Energy Services Divisions. Prior to that, he served as the General Manager of the Westinghouse Nuclear Service Division. Mr. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the US Naval Academy, a Master of Science degree in Engineering Mechanics from Georgia Tech, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. He also served as an officer in the Naval Nuclear Submarine program.  Mr. Christopher serves on the Board of Directors of Babcock & Wilcox Company.
