Fort Point Capital, a leading private equity firm focused on investing in lower middle-market services companies, has announced the promotion of James Clayton from Senior Analyst to Associate. Since joining the firm in 2022, Jimmy has supported the investment team in evaluating investment opportunities, performing due diligence, and participating in the closing of transactions. He also assists with the oversight of portfolio companies AMS Fulfillment, Strata Information Group and CellSite Solutions.

Prior to joining Fort Point, Jimmy was an investment banking analyst at Wells Fargo Securities, advising both public and private clients on M&A and capital markets transactions in the Utilities, Renewable Power, and Energy Transition industries. He received a B.S. in Economics and Finance summa cum laude from the College of Charleston.
